Liberating structures offer a different way of working together. Engaging and empowering, they liberate all to participate and contribute in a variety of ways.
In this experiential session, we will abandon the traditional 'expert talking to crowd' model and recruit all attendees into an impromptu collaborative discussion leveraging the power of a few key structures:
- 1-2-4-All, where participants have 1 minute for solo contemplation, 2 minutes for pair discussion, 4 minutes for small group discussion, and then time to share findings with the group
- Troika Consulting, a structure for participants to seek and receive advice and challenge themselves to listen with empathy and improve their clarifying questioning.
Through this session you will learn how to facilitate liberating structures in your organisations, and will likely learn something about yourself and your fellow attendees along the way.
